It is still the world's largest robot consumer demand country, but the growth rate has slowed down significantly compared with 2015. In terms of the proportion of domestic robot enterprises, the proportion of domestic enterprises was 28% in 2014, an increase of 3 percentage points in 2015. Domestic robot enterprises in 2015 sales growth rate of 27.5, the same period of foreign enterprises in the domestic sales growth rate of 12.7. According to domestic sales data, the overall growth rate of domestic industrial robot sales is gradually slowing down, on the one hand, because of the overall domestic macroeconomic slowdown, weak downstream demand, robot investment enthusiasm weakened; on the other hand, the structural transformation of robot downstream applications.

From the perspective of downstream application structure, the traditional application field of industrial robots is the automotive industry. In 2015, the demand for industrial robots in the automotive industry reached 95000 units, accounting for about 38.3 of the total demand, and it is still a large downstream application field. However, in terms of growth rate, the non-automotive sector is the main fast-growing areas. In the domestic market, after the car, 3C, home appliances and other fields are expected to take over the automotive industry demand.

With the switching of industrial robot application fields, the future demand will be applied on a large scale in some new scenarios.
